Many building products don't require any form of statutory approval, like a kitchen or bathroom refurbishment, and as such don't require formal planning or building regulation approval.

 

However, many of these refurbishment/building projects do require some sort of 'planning' or work scheduling/specification preparation.

This sort of documentation is so important to convey to your builder/contractor or craftsman the extent and or workmanship required. So many times one see's the horrific consequences of a builder not understanding the clients requirement, or the clients expectations, not being met by the builder.
